Terms & Conditions (English)

1. Payment and Absences

1. Classes are paid in advance via invoice. The invoice specifies the dates for which payment has been made.

2. Absences due to illness or personal reasons are non-refundable.

3. Payment guarantees a place in the group on the specified dates.

2. Student Behavior

Children (<18 years):

1. Students must behave respectfully toward the teacher and other participants.

2. In case of misbehavior (yelling, disrupting class, endangering themselves or others), the following measures apply:

   • First warning — verbal.

   • Second warning — verbal.

   • If the behavior continues — time-out. The child may return to class only after calming down.

   • In case of serious rule violation, the teacher may stop the student from participating in the class. Payment for this class will not be refunded.

Adults (≥18 years):

1. Participants must behave respectfully toward the teacher and other students.

2. The teacher may ask a participant to leave the class in case of serious misconduct. Payment for this class will not be refunded.

3. Photos and Videos

1. Parents/students consent to the use of photos and videos from classes for promotional purposes (social media, website, advertising).

2. If parents/students do not agree to the publication, they must notify the teacher via e-mail in advance. In such cases, the child’s face will be blurred or the media will not be used.

4. Student Responsibility

1. The teacher is responsible for the student only during the official class time.

2. After the class ends, parents/legal guardians are responsible for the student.

3. If a child leaves the studio independently before a parent arrives, the teacher is not responsible for any consequences.

5. Health and Injuries

1. Parents must inform the teacher of any illnesses, injuries, or special needs of the child before classes start.

2. The teacher is not responsible for consequences if health information was not provided.

3. In case of injury during class, the teacher provides first aid and calls emergency medical services if necessary.

6. Insurance

• Parents/students are responsible for their own health insurance in case of injuries occurring during classes.

7. Force Majeure

• The school is not responsible for cancellations or rescheduling due to circumstances beyond its control (teacher illness, emergencies, studio maintenance, etc.). Payment is non-refundable but may be applied to future classes.

8. Use of Equipment and Studio

• Students use studio property at their own risk.

• The teacher is not responsible for students’ personal belongings brought to class. In case of damage or theft, responsibility lies entirely with the parents/students.

• If a student damages studio property (e.g., breaks glass), all repair costs are the responsibility of the parent/student who caused the damage.

9. Parent Behavior

• Parents must behave respectfully toward the teacher and other students. Aggressive behavior may result in termination of the child’s participation without refund.

10. Agreement to the Rules

1. By paying for classes, parents/students automatically agree to all terms of these rules.

2. If a parent/student disagrees with any term and wishes to discuss it, they may contact the teacher via e-mail danceyourwaynl@gmail.com before the first class. Otherwise, payment constitutes confirmation of agreement.

Algemene Voorwaarden (Nederlands)

1. Betaling en Afwezigheid

1. Lessen worden vooraf betaald via factuur. De factuur geeft de data aan waarvoor de betaling is gedaan.

2. Afwezigheid wegens ziekte of persoonlijke redenen wordt niet terugbetaald.

3. Betaling garandeert een plaats in de groep op de opgegeven data.

2. Gedrag van leerlingen

Kinderen (<18 jaar):

1. Leerlingen moeten zich respectvol gedragen tegenover de docent en andere deelnemers.

2. Bij slecht gedrag (schreeuwen, de les verstoren, gevaar voor zichzelf of anderen) gelden de volgende maatregelen:

   • Eerste waarschuwing — mondeling.

   • Tweede waarschuwing — mondeling.

   • Bij voortzetting van het gedrag — time-out. Het kind mag pas terugkeren in de les nadat het gekalmeerd is.

   • Bij ernstige overtreding van de regels mag de docent het kind uit de les verwijderen. Betaling voor deze les wordt niet teruggegeven.

Volwassenen (≥18 jaar):

1. Deelnemers moeten zich respectvol gedragen tegenover de docent en andere leerlingen.

2. De docent kan een deelnemer verzoeken de les te verlaten bij ernstige overtreding van de regels.

3. Foto’s en Video’s

1. Ouders/leerlingen geven toestemming voor het gebruik van foto’s en video’s van de lessen voor promotiedoeleinden (sociale media, website, reclame).

2. Als ouders/leerlingen niet akkoord gaan met publicatie, moeten zij dit vooraf via e-mail aan de docent melden. In dat geval wordt het gezicht van het kind geblurd of wordt het materiaal niet gebruikt.

4. Verantwoordelijkheid van de leerling

1. De docent is alleen verantwoordelijk voor de leerling tijdens de officiële lestijd.

2. Na afloop van de les zijn ouders/wettelijke verzorgers verantwoordelijk voor de leerling.

3. Als een kind de studio zelfstandig verlaat voordat een ouder aanwezig is, is de docent niet verantwoordelijk voor de gevolgen.

5. Gezondheid en Verwondingen

1. Ouders moeten de docent informeren over ziekten, blessures of speciale behoeften van het kind vóór het begin van de lessen.

2. De docent is niet verantwoordelijk voor gevolgen indien gezondheidsinformatie niet is verstrekt.

3. Bij een blessure tijdens de les verleent de docent eerste hulp en belt indien nodig de noodhulp.

6. Verzekering

• Ouders/leerlingen zijn zelf verantwoordelijk voor hun eigen ziektekostenverzekering bij blessures die tijdens de lessen plaatsvinden.

7. Overmacht

• De school is niet verantwoordelijk voor annuleringen of verplaatsingen van lessen door omstandigheden buiten haar controle (ziekte docent, noodsituaties, onderhoud van de studio, enz.). Betaling wordt niet teruggegeven, maar kan worden gebruikt voor toekomstige lessen.

8. Gebruik van Materiaal en Studio

• Leerlingen gebruiken het materiaal van de studio op eigen risico.

• De docent is niet verantwoordelijk voor persoonlijke eigendommen van leerlingen die meegebracht zijn naar de les. Bij beschadiging of diefstal ligt de verantwoordelijkheid volledig bij de ouders/leerlingen.

• Als een leerling het eigendom van de studio beschadigt (bijv. glas breekt), zijn alle herstelkosten voor rekening van de ouder/leerling die de schade heeft veroorzaakt.

9. Gedrag van Ouders

• Ouders moeten zich respectvol gedragen tegenover de docent en andere leerlingen. Agressief gedrag kan leiden tot beëindiging van deelname van het kind zonder terugbetaling.

10. Akkoord met de regels

1. Door betaling van de lessen gaan ouders/leerlingen automatisch akkoord met alle punten van deze regels.

2. Als een ouder/leerling het niet eens is met een punt en dit wil bespreken, kan hij/zij contact opnemen met de docent via e-mail danceyourwaynl@gmail.com  vóór de eerste les. Anders geldt betaling als bevestiging van akkoord.
