ABOUT
Japanese & Korean Culture Club
The Japanese–Korean Culture Club is a space for people who are inspired by Korean and Japanese culture and who want to learn, connect, and grow together.
Our mission is simple: to bring together individuals who share these interests and values, and to explore what these two rich cultures can teach us about living a more meaningful and intentional life.
Every session focuses on a specific aspect of Japanese or Korean culture — philosophy, literature, art, music, or film. Together, we dive into these themes, discuss them as a group, and reflect on how the ideas we discover can be applied to our own lives.
This club is not just about learning facts.
It’s about broadening your perspective, deepening your understanding, and finding practical wisdom in traditions that have inspired millions of people around the world.
Our goal is to help you gain meaningful insights, discover new ways of thinking, and bring the best elements of Japanese and Korean culture into your everyday life — all while connecting with a community that shares your passion.
Join us to expand your horizons, enrich your inner world, and make your life better through the wisdom of these two powerful cultures.

Hi! Nice to meet you! I am the founder of this club, Julia

For many years, I’ve been a dedicated admirer of Japanese and Korean culture. My professional journey began in major Asian companies such as Samsung Electronics and JVC Kenwood, where I first discovered how different their values are from those in Europe. That experience shaped my worldview and sparked a long-lasting appreciation for both cultures.
For over 10 years I’ve worked as a teacher, built my own business, and lived in Germany, Portugal, and the Netherlands. Although I’m originally from Russia, the principles that guide my life are deeply rooted in Asian values: respect, discipline, hard work, and the spirit of continuous improvement — kaizen. These ideas have helped me build an independent life in Europe and stay focused on personal growth.
I also believe that every culture in the world carries unique wisdom. This club was created for people who value openness, curiosity, and learning from different cultural perspectives.
I’m happy to welcome you to the Japanese–Korean Culture Club.
